How We Make Primetime Drama On Air: Sources, Editorial Standards and Corrections
Primetime Drama On Air: Is it new tonight? Air times, preemptions and return dates for CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX primetime dramas and comedies
This page explains who runs the site, where the information comes from, how we check it, and how to tell us about a mistake.
Who runs Primetime Drama On Air
Primetime Drama On Air is edited and published by Heejun Ahn, Editor & Publisher. The publisher sets the editorial rules and the list of sources, decides what the site covers and handles reader corrections. Primetime Drama On Air is one of the OnAir Network sites, all run by the same publisher.
Where the information comes from
- Schedules and air times. Public listings data from TVmaze, checked against the broadcasters' and streaming services' own schedules and press pages, including the episode listings the networks publish (as compiled by The Futon Critic).
- Names, results and episode details. The shows' and networks' official pages, press releases and announcements, plus established entertainment and news outlets. Each post lists its sources at the end.
- Video. When a show has an official clip, we embed it from the network's own YouTube channel. We do not reproduce full episodes or scripts.
- Photos. When we use a photo of a real person or event, it comes from Wikimedia Commons under its licence and carries a credit line.
How we check it
- Our publishing rules call for every air time, result and date to be matched against at least two sources before a post goes out.
- If the sources are missing or disagree, the rule is not to publish a guess: the post says what is unconfirmed, or leaves the detail out.
- Time-sensitive posts carry an “Updated” time in the byline, and when a schedule changes we update the same page instead of leaving an old version standing.
How we publish
- Drafts. Posts are prepared by an automated publishing workflow. It collects the data listed above and drafts each post from it, following the editorial and sourcing rules above.
- Images. Most lead images are original illustrations made for the site — empty sets, objects and abstract scenes. They contain no people, faces, text or logos. The information cards inside posts are made by our own scripts from the facts in the post.
- Bylines. Posts are signed “By the Primetime Drama On Air desk” because they come out of this workflow, not from an individual reporter. We do not invent authors.
- Limits. Posts are prepared and published on a schedule by the automated workflow. If you spot a mistake, please tell us — corrections matter.
Review before publishing
Since early October 2026, new posts are checked by a separate review step before they are published, and changes to posts that are already live are routed through the same step. That step is not the one that wrote the draft: it re-checks the facts against the sources and either approves the post or sends it back. A post that does not pass is held, not published. Both steps are automated; the publisher sets their rules.
Corrections and updates
When an earlier version of a page was wrong, we fix the page at the same address and put a dated “Correction” line at the top saying what changed. Routine updates, such as a new air time or a result, show in the “Updated” time in the byline. If you find a mistake, write to us.
How do I report a mistake?
Email ahj1975423@gmail.com with the page address and, if you have one, a source that shows the correct detail. When we confirm an error we fix the post and note the update time on it.
Advertising, affiliate links and relationships
