The Oct. 15 premiere was new, and the next new episode is Oct. 22. ABC's release for "Collide" sets up a collision at Sea-Tac that floods Grey Sloan with badly hurt patients on the day the hospital is unveiling a controversial new VIP floor. The unveiling falls apart while the doctors race to treat them.
Before the Oct. 15 premiere there was nothing new to catch up on: ABC ran last season's finale in the slot on Oct. 8.
When is the next new episode of Grey's Anatomy?
After the premiere, "Slippin' and Slidin'" is on ABC's schedule for Thursday, Oct. 22. ABC's description has Bailey getting used to being a student again while she and Blue handle a fraternity hazing accident, Meredith splitting her time between Boston and Seattle for a young patient, and Amelia and Toni backing up Jo.
ABC has published its primetime schedule only through the week of Oct. 19. For Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, the listings carry titles, and The Futon Critic's listings have a Grey's episode reaching Hulu on Friday, Oct. 30, which fits. Nov. 12 and 19 are held at 10 p.m. without titles, and none of the November Thursdays is marked as a repeat.

TV Guide and TVLine list the same 13 regulars: Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey), Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey), James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber), Jason George (Ben Warren), Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson), Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd), Chris Carmack (Atticus "Link" Lincoln), Anthony Hill (Winston Ndugu), Alexis Floyd (Simone Griffith), Harry Shum Jr. (Benson "Blue" Kwan), Adelaide Kane (Jules Millin), Niko Terho (Lucas Adams) and Trevor Jackson (Wes Bryant).
Two long-running names are gone from that list. Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) and Kim Raver (Teddy Altman) left at the end of Season 22, as TVLine and Variety reported in March. The one announced addition is James Wolk, who recurs as Seth Norton, a surgeon turned businessman; TVLine has him in at least four episodes.
