Fire Country and Sheriff Country Crossover: Date, Time and Which Episode to Watch First

Quick answer: The Fire Country and Sheriff Country crossover airs on CBS on Friday, Nov. 6. Watch Sheriff Country first: "No Way In" (Season 2, Episode 5) is at 8 p.m. ET, and Fire Country follows with "No Way Out" (Season 5, Episode 5) at 9 p.m. ET. CBS prints the slots as 8/7c and 9/8c, so that is 7 and 8 p.m. Central; check local listings for Pacific time.

Which episode do I watch first?

Sheriff Country, because it comes first on the air and the story starts there. Per CBS's description, as TVLine reported it, a prison break turns into a hostage crisis in the Sheriff Country hour, and Sheriff Mickey Fox faces a high-stakes decision. The Fire Country hour that follows has escaped convicts on the loose, and Bode and the Station 42 crew team up with Mickey and her deputies to protect their community. TVLine also lists Bode, Manny and Eve as guest stars in the Sheriff Country episode.

The Nov. 6 watch order on CBS

TVLine's report names only "No Way In." The Fire Country title comes from The Futon Critic's CBS listing and TVmaze, which agree with each other, so treat "No Way Out" as listed rather than confirmed by a CBS release we have read.

When is the next Fire Country and Sheriff Country crossover?

Nov. 6 is the one on the schedule. Deadline and TVLine reported it on Sept. 3, and TVLine noted that CBS also paired the two shows in April 2026. We read The Futon Critic's CBS listings for both series at 12:19 a.m. ET on Oct. 28, and they show the two shows back on their own stories the following Friday, Nov. 13, with Sheriff Country's "Close to the Chest" at 8 p.m. ET and Fire Country's "Church and State" at 9 p.m. ET. No other crossover episode is listed. The same listings carry only TBA slots for Dec. 4, 11 and 18.

Both Nov. 6 episodes are listed as 60-minute episodes in TVmaze, so this is two back-to-back hours rather than one two-hour film.

Where can I watch the crossover?

On CBS, or on the Paramount+ service that carries CBS shows. We have not confirmed the exact hour the Nov. 6 episodes go up on Paramount+, so check the app after the broadcast. Our pages for each show keep the current streaming notes: Sheriff Country and Fire Country. The late-night CBS Friday drama is covered on the Boston Blue page, and every CBS series we track is on the CBS page.

What if my local station shows something else?

Local CBS stations can move network shows for regional sports or breaking news, so check your station if the hour looks wrong. Our preemptions page lists the breaks we have confirmed.
