Is NCIS New Tonight? NCIS, NCIS: New York and NCIS: Origins This Week

Short version: The next new episodes of all three NCIS shows air Tuesday, Oct. 27, on CBS. NCIS has "Like and Subscribe" (Season 24, Episode 4) at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 Central), NCIS: New York follows with "Homecoming" at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and NCIS: Origins airs "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Last new episodes: Tuesday, Oct. 20 ("Sleeping Dogs," the NCIS: New York "Carousel" and "Return of the Mack"), as CBS scheduled them.
Is NCIS new tonight?
On Tuesdays, yes. Season 24 premiered Oct. 6 with "Wayward Son," the first new episode since May 12. The Oct. 20 episode, "Sleeping Dogs," had Torres working with his former handler, played by Mike O'Malley, after his old undercover identity is used in a string of murders.
Is NCIS: New York new tonight?
It is a brand-new series that premiered Oct. 6, so every Tuesday episode so far is a first run. LL Cool J plays Special Agent Sam Hanna, back in his hometown of New York City, with Scott Caan as Nick Schaeffer and Jennifer Beals as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells. In "Carousel" on Oct. 20, CBS said a military prosecutor's children are kidnapped from a park carousel and the team suspects a link to her work.

Is NCIS: Origins new tonight?
Yes, on Tuesdays since the Season 3 premiere on Oct. 6. Mark Harmon appears as the present-day Gibbs and Austin Stowell plays the younger version. On Oct. 20, "Return of the Mack" brought back Adam Campbell as the young Ducky.

When is the next new episode of each NCIS show?
CBS has named all three episodes for Tuesday, Oct. 27. After that, the Futon Critic's CBS listings keep the Tuesday slots through Nov. 17 but with the episode marked TBA, so those weeks read "listed" until CBS names an episode. No new episode is listed for any of the three on Tuesday, Nov. 3; we'll add a reason here only once CBS or a second source confirms one. See the FBI and CIA page for Monday and the Marshals and Tracker pages for Sunday.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need to watch NCIS before NCIS: New York?
No. CBS calls NCIS: New York a series premiere, and the pilot introduces its own team. LL Cool J's Sam Hanna is a character fans know from NCIS: Los Angeles, but the new show starts fresh.
Can I watch the NCIS shows without cable?
Yes: a TV antenna picks up your local CBS station for free, and Paramount+ Premium streams the live CBS feed, with next-day episodes on both plans.
