HSN Today's Special Sept 8, 2026: Comfort Code 2-Piece Lounge Set at $39.95 — Cheaper Than Walmart After Shipping?

Sold out of the calendar. HSN's Today's Special lasts 24 hours, so the Sept. 8 lounge-set price below is history rather than a live listing. Treat the numbers as a benchmark for the next time Cuddl Duds turns up in the slot. Tonight's line-up sits on the QVC and HSN schedule page.

Quick answer — HSN's Today's Special on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 was a Comfort Code by Cuddl Duds two-piece lounge set at $39.95. Delivered, with shipping, it came to $43.45 — and the Walmart and Target comparison that morning is in the table below.

Key takeaways

• HSN's Today's Special for Tuesday, September 8 is the Comfort Code Soft Sweater 2-Piece Lounge Set by Cuddl Duds, item 930820, at $39.95 plus $3.50 shipping.
• The real total is $43.45, or $21.73 a piece for the top and the pants.
• Walmart was selling Cuddl Duds two-piece sets at $34.99 to $39.99 with free shipping at 12:55 a.m. ET, so HSN is a few dollars behind on price and ahead on size range.

What is HSN's Today's Special on September 8?

A matching knit top and pants set under HSN's Comfort Code label, which Cuddl Duds makes for the network. HSN listed it at $39.95 against an HSN Deal price of $49.95, a cut of exactly 20.0%.

The top is a long-sleeve V-neck with a wrap-over front and a high-low hem. The pants have an elasticized waist, side seam pockets and a cuffed leg opening. Five colours were showing: Black, Eclipse Blue, Loden Olive, Mauve Purple and Warm Taupe.

No review score was attached yet — the page carried a "Write A Review" prompt and nothing else, which is normal for a set that has not been on air before.

What does $39.95 actually cost once shipping lands?

Two card offers sat alongside it: $15 off when you open an HSN Card, and 5% off a Today's Special with that card. The 5% version brings the set to $37.95, or $41.45 delivered. HSN was also running WELCOME2026 for $15 off a first order of $35 or more.

Is the same brand cheaper at Walmart, Target or Amazon?

Cuddl Duds is sold widely; Comfort Code is HSN's own line of it. So the honest comparison is brand-level, not item-level, and we have flagged which is which.

Take the closest Walmart match, the long-sleeve top and pant set at $39.99 delivered, and HSN's set costs $3.46 more once shipping is added. With the HSN card that gap narrows to $1.46. None of the Walmart listings is the Comfort Code sweater-knit version, and none of them is offered in Petite Plus.

What is it made of, and how does the sizing run?

96% polyester, 4% spandex, knit rather than woven. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, tumble dry low. Imported.

The size grid is the strongest part of this deal. Two inseams, 25 inches and 28 inches, cross four size types — Petite, Petite Plus, Regular and Plus — running P/XS through P/3X and XS through 3X. HSN sizes the set by bust, waist and hip and tells you to take the largest of the three if they disagree.

A note on safety rather than a claim about comfort: a search of the Consumer Product Safety Commission's recall listings turned up nothing filed under Cuddl Duds. That records the absence of a published recall, not an inspection.

How much of today's HSN schedule is this brand?

A quarter of it. Comfort Code by Cuddl Duds has five full hours on HSN today — midnight, 3 a.m., 6 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET — and a sixth appearance inside Accessorize Your Life at 2 p.m.

If you want to see the fabric move before you buy, the 11 a.m. hour with Tamara Hooks is the one in daylight. The rest of the grid, including QVC and QVC2, is on our daily listings page.

So what is the best way to buy today?

Cheapest delivered: Walmart, at $34.99 to $39.99 with free shipping, if any of their Cuddl Duds sets is close enough to what you want and your size is in stock.

Best fit for the money: HSN at $43.45 delivered. You are paying roughly three dollars for a sweater-knit version in five colours, two inseams and a size run that reaches Petite Plus and 3X — which no Walmart listing we saw offered.

Skip if: you only want the pants, or you need it this week. HSN's shipping estimate is slower than Walmart's three-day free option.

Today's other deal, QVC's barrel ankle jeans TSV at $62.98, is the sister network's fashion play; the two channels are owned by the same parent, which is why the card discounts look alike. We laid the two programmes side by side in Today's Special versus TSV.

FAQ

Is the $39.95 lounge set still up? No. That price belonged to September 8 alone. Cuddl Duds sets reappear on HSN often enough that the delivered total here is worth keeping as a yardstick; how the two networks price their daily deal explains what a genuine repeat looks like.

Is the 20% off figure real? It is arithmetic on HSN's own numbers: $49.95 down to $39.95 is 20.0%. Whether $49.95 is a price the set ever sold at, we cannot verify — it launched today.

How many FlexPay instalments? The page said FlexPay was available but did not print the count when we checked at 12:15 a.m. ET. Our instalment guide explains how HSN structures them.

Does the $3.50 shipping change by order size? HSN charges shipping per item on most soft goods. See our shipping and returns breakdown for how it stacks.

Where can I see yesterday's deal? Monday's was a pair of HoMedics plug-in air purifiers at $59.99. Everything is archived in the HSN section.
