HSN Today's Special Sept 14, 2026: Improvements Soft Side Storage Boxes, 2 for $24.95 — The Real Delivered Price
We are not affiliated with QVC, HSN or ShopHQ.
The gist:
- HSN's Monday Today's Special is the Improvements Set of 2 Soft Side Storage Boxes, $24.95 plus $3.50 shipping.
- Delivered, that's $28.45, or $14.23 per box, against HSN's own $59.99 reference price.
- Improvements is sold through HSN, so there's no identical box at Amazon or Walmart to price against.
After a vitamin-heavy Sunday, HSN switched to closet storage. We read the Today's Special page at 12:14 a.m. ET on September 14, 2026, and matched it against HSN's list of items aired in the midnight hour, which carried the same item number, 926-671, at the same $24.95.
What do you get for $24.95?
Two square fabric boxes with removable insert grids, sold mainly as shoe organizers. HSN's spec sheet is specific, so here it is in one place.
| Spec | Per box, from HSN's listing |
|---|---|
| Size | About 17" L × 17" W × 12½" H |
| Divider layouts | 16 cells of 4" × 4", 4 cells of 8" × 8", or one open 16" × 16" space |
| Weight limit | About 30 lb |
| Weight (set) | About 7.7 lb for both |
| Materials | Polyester, non-woven fabric, cardboard, PP board, PVC; waterproof exterior coating |
| Care | Spot clean only |
| Colors | Blue Printed Geo, Heather Gray Marble, Navy, Oatmeal, Printed Green |
Two lines in the fine print deserve more attention than they got on air. HSN says the boxes aren't meant for utility boots, and it doesn't recommend stacking them. If you were picturing a tower of four in a closet corner, that's not how the maker intends them to be used.
How long is the deal live, and when is it on TV?
The countdown read 22 hours, 54 minutes at 12:14 a.m. ET, which puts the end near 11:09 p.m. ET tonight. Between HSN's program guide and the product page's airtimes, Improvements gets six Home Solutions hours today: midnight, 3 a.m., 6 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET.
The HSN product page names Tina Jennings for the midnight hour, Matt Evers at 1 p.m. and Ty Mayberry at 4 p.m. The rest of the day, including an 11 p.m. EcoFlow hour, is on our Monday schedule page.
Can you buy the same boxes somewhere else?
Not that we could find. HSN's page says the collection is "designed exclusively for HSN," and the old Improvements catalog web address now redirects straight to HSN's Improvements shop.

Amazon's search returned plenty of generic fabric bins and shoe organizers. None matched the size, divider layout and brand, so we left them out rather than call one an equivalent. Prices change without notice, and tax varies by state.
Is 58% off the real discount?
HSN prints $59.99 as its reference and $63.98 as a "comparable retail value." We couldn't find either price live anywhere else, and the item had zero reviews on HSN when we checked, so treat both as HSN's own framing.
The more useful number is what a box costs you. Storage is really about space, so here's our math per cubic foot.
| Measure | Our calculation |
|---|---|
| Volume per box | 17 × 17 × 12.5 = 3,612.5 cu in, about 2.09 cu ft |
| Volume for the set | About 4.18 cu ft |
| Cost per cubic foot, item only | $5.97 |
| Cost per cubic foot, delivered | $6.80 |
| Shipping as a share of the total | 12.3% |
That last line is why the $3.50 matters. On a $24.95 item, shipping is an eighth of what you pay, and on a change-of-mind return it usually doesn't come back. Our shipping and returns guide walks through the deductions.
Does FlexPay change the total?
Barely. Three payments of $8.32 add up to $24.96, a cent over the single price, and HSN's four-payment ExtraFlex option lands on the same $24.96. Our FlexPay explainer shows why those splits round up.
The HSN Card discount is the only lever that lowers the price, and it needs a card account. Opening one just to save $1.25 on storage boxes isn't worth the credit check.
So, should you buy them?
If you need floor or shelf storage for sneakers, flats and sandals, and you're fine keeping each box on its own shelf, $14.23 delivered per box is a fair price for a 17-inch box with a divider grid. HSN is the only place to get this exact set.
Skip it if you wanted stackable storage or somewhere to put work boots. The fine print rules out both.
For comparison, Sunday's deal was Andrew Lessman's supplement lineup, and QVC's Monday pick is a Givenchy lip balm duo. How the two daily deals differ is worth a read if you shop both.
