QVC Today's Special Value Sept 14, 2026: Givenchy Le Rouge Hydra Balm Duo — Is $59.98 Actually the Lowest Price?

QVC opened Monday with a lip product rather than a vacuum or a jacket. The new Today's Special Value is a two-pack of Givenchy's Le Rouge Hydra Balm, the black balm that turns a berry shade once it's on your lips, for $59.98 with free standard shipping.

It's a recent launch, and Sephora sells it one at a time. That gave us a clean like-for-like check: same formula, same 0.12-ounce size, same shade N°10. We read QVC's page at 12:10 a.m. ET and Sephora's at 12:15 a.m. ET on September 14, 2026.

What exactly is in Monday's TSV?

Two full-size balms, nothing else. QVC's listing, item A750225, prints three reference prices, and they're worth separating before you judge the discount.

The $90 separate price isn't padding. It matches Sephora's live $45 single price exactly, which is rarer than you'd think on shopping-channel pages. The $73 figure is QVC's own non-TSV price for the pair.

The sale clock matters too. QVC's product data sets the price valid until 1:10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, September 15. Givenchy Beauty has four QVC hours today, at midnight, 3 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 p.m., and three of them are billed as free shipping; today's full grid lists the rest.

Is it cheaper at Sephora, Amazon or Nordstrom?

Only QVC sells the duo. So every other store in this table is priced for two single balms, which is the honest comparison.

Two caveats. We read Nordstrom's page from outside the U.S., so its sold-out flag may not match what a shopper in Ohio sees. And Amazon's search turned up older Givenchy balms from third-party sellers, including Le Rouge Interdit at $51.71, which is a different formula and not a substitute.

Prices change without notice, and sales tax depends on your state.

How much do you actually save?

Against Sephora's everyday price, the pair saves $30.02, or 33%. Against Sephora's Auto-Replenish price it's $25.52, and that assumes you'd sign up for a subscription to get it.

By weight, the TSV works out to $249.92 an ounce (0.24 ounces total). Sephora's single comes to $375.00 an ounce. That's the same balm at two-thirds the unit price.

What's in the balm, and who should read the label first?

QVC links a full ingredient declaration, and it matches the list on Sephora's page word for word. The base is waxes and emollients: polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, squalane, sunflower seed wax, beeswax and rice bran wax.

Givenchy's highlighted extras are sodium hyaluronate, linseed (flax) seed oil, ceramide NG and palmitoyl hexapeptide-12. The color comes from CI 45380, better known as D&C Red No. 21, a dye that shifts shade with moisture and pH. FDA's color additive table lists which dyes are cleared for cosmetics.

One label note for sensitive skin. Parfum (fragrance) and vanillin are both in the formula, so anyone who reacts to fragranced lip products should read the full list before buying two.

Givenchy's own claims, as Sephora repeats them, come from small panels: hydration "maintained for 48H" in an instrumental test on 30 people, and a 19% smoothing figure after four weeks in a clinical test on 30. Those are brand tests, not independent studies.

Sephora shoppers rate it 4.6 out of 5 across 204 reviews, and the page flags application, color and hydration as the most praised points. QVC's listing had no reviews yet.

What's the best way to buy it today?

If you want two, QVC is the lowest total we found, by a wide margin. A QCard holder using VIPTSV5 gets it lower still.

If you want just one to test the color, Sephora at $45 costs less up front than the duo, and its Beauty Insider free shipping keeps that single order clean.
