QVC Today's Special Value Sept 22, 2026: Vince Camuto Tall Shaft Boots at $159.98

Tuesday's Today's Special Value is a knee-high boot, and for once the comparison is not hypothetical: the brand sells a near-identical style on Amazon and its own site, at a price we read at 12:47 a.m. ET.

Those three blocked us at the door, so we left them blank rather than guess. The rest of this explains two numbers: $159.98 and $229.00.

What is QVC selling today?

The Vince Camuto Leather or Suede Tall Shaft Boot, style name Ammilo, in three calf widths: A735635 Medium, A735636 Wide, A735650 X-Wide. All three carry the Today's Special Value badge at $159.98, down from $194.00, and all say "ends in 1 day."

QVC's homepage calls the style exclusive to the network. The brand's own site has no Ammilo, which fits.

The grid backs it up. Midnight on the main channel is Shoe Shopping with Courtney — featuring Vince Camuto, and three more shoe hours follow: five of the day's 24. Today's full QVC and HSN grid has the rest.

Why the $229 matters more than the $194

QVC shows two reference prices: a "was" price of $194.00 and a comparable retail value of $229.00. The first is a QVC number. The second turned out to be checkable.

Vince Camuto sells the Ammar knee-high boot — same category, same block-heel build, same calf-width idea — for $229.00 on its own site and $229.00 on Amazon, where we opened four listings (black and brandy, regular and wide calf) and found the same figure on each.

The discount depends on which one you trust:

One caution, and not a small one: Ammilo and Ammar are different style names with different spec sheets. Call it a sibling comparison, not a matching price.

Which calf width do you need?

Three widths, one price. That is the part worth knowing.

Each width carries the same five colors and the same 24 sizes — 5M through 12M and 6W through 12W. That is 360 combinations at one price.

The brand's site offers four calf widths but three colors, 13 sizes and no wide foot widths: 156 combinations, at $229.00. If you wear a 9W, QVC is not the cheaper option. It is the only one.

QVC's fit note: pick your normal shoe size and footbed width, and size up a calf width if you fall between two. Measure over what you wear under boots.

What are they made of?

A 2.14-inch stacked block heel, 0.26-inch sole and 15.75-inch shaft, measured on a Medium size 9. Side zip, neoprene stretch panel at the back, interior goring, knot detail at the ankle.

Two colors are leather uppers, black and mahogany. Three are water-repellent suede: mink, navy and tortilla, the last with a burnished toe. Water-repellent is not waterproof, and QVC does not claim it is.

Reviews are the weak spot: none on the QVC item page when we looked, and the four Amazon listings carry one or two ratings each. Nobody has worn these through a winter.

On safety, the federal recall database returns nothing under this brand; the same query returns six boot recalls from other brands since 2024, so the search works.

What does it really cost after Easy Pay and the codes?

Shipping is free today, which is not standard on QVC fashion: yesterday's jacket cost $3.50 to ship.

The card offer is the real lever: code VIPTSV5 takes 5 percent off a Today's Special Value for QCard and HSN Card holders, which is $8.00 here. Rakuten currently lists 2 percent back at QVC and 3 percent at vincecamuto.com, so stacking cash back on the brand's site still leaves it about $65 dearer.

Has QVC run a boot deal like this before?

We have logged 18 QVC daily deals since Sept. 7. Twelve land between 16.7 and 18.9 percent off the "was" price, which tells you that number is close to formula.

The nearest match is Sept. 15: a Clarks Collection water-repellent leather boot at $79.98 from $97.00, also 17.5 percent, but with $5.50 shipping on top. Same discount shape, half the price. Monday's quilted jacket came in at 18.9 percent, the month's deepest cut on a QVC house brand.

FAQ

Is the Ammilo the same boot as the Ammar? No. Different style names and spec sheets. Treat $229.00 as a benchmark, not a matching tag.

Does the price end at midnight? The item pages say "ends in 1 day" with no clock. HSN runs a countdown to 11:59:59 p.m. ET; QVC's can drift into the morning. The two networks' rules differ on exactly this point.

Are the suede colors waterproof? They are described as water-repellent suede, which handles spray and not standing water.

Best way to buy today

Buy it at QVC; the margin is not close. At $159.98 with free shipping it sits $69.02 under the only two stores where we could verify the brand's comparable boot, and a QCard holder using VIPTSV5 pays $151.98.

Amazon at $229.00 wins in one case: a color or size QVC has run out of. The brand's own site is the same price with a smaller range.
