Quick answer: Wednesday's Today's Special Value is a Le Creuset 5.25-qt Traditional cast-iron chef's oven at $259.98 with free standard shipping. There is no identical listing to price against, because QVC says the item is exclusive to it until December 31, 2026. What we can say with numbers is that QVC's own Le Creuset Signature 5.5-qt round Dutch oven costs $470.97 delivered on the same site, so the TSV is $210.99 less for a pot a quarter-quart smaller.

We read the Today's Special Value collection and then the product page itself from a U.S. browser session just after the midnight changeover. Both showed the same $259.98.

What exactly are you getting for $259.98?

A round enameled cast-iron pot and its lid, with a stainless steel knob you can unscrew and replace. QVC's spec list is unusually complete, so here it is in one place.

Ten and a half pounds is the number to sit with. A loaded 5.25-qt pot coming out of a 450°F oven is a two-hand, two-mitt lift, and the loop handles are 4 inches long.

Is it cheaper on Amazon, Walmart or Target?

We could not answer that honestly today, and the reason is on the listing itself: QVC prints "Exclusive to QVC until 12/31/2026." A price match needs the same model, and this one is not sold elsewhere.

So we did the next most useful thing and priced Le Creuset inside QVC's own catalog, where the comparison is apples to apples on shipping and returns.

Those blanks are real blanks. Le Creuset's site, Amazon and three department stores all refused our connection this morning, so we left the cells empty rather than guess at a number. The same thing happened with Amazon on Tuesday's HSN throw set.

One line of context that is not a price: the Signature series is the newer line, and QVC's own copy for it points to a tougher interior enamel and bigger handles than the Traditional shape. They are not the same pot at two prices.

What does the cast iron cost per quart?

Dividing price by capacity is the cleanest way to compare pots of different sizes, so we ran it both ways.

What do Easy Pay and the codes do to the real total?

Two codes were on the page. VIPTSV5 takes 5% off a Today's Special Value for QCard or HSN Card holders, which is the $246.98 row above. HELLO20 takes $20 off a first order over $40, which would put a new customer at $239.98.

We did not test whether the two stack, so do not count on both. Returns run 30 days, and the return shipping deduction matters more than usual on a 10.5-lb item.
